Memory Board Classes in Coeur d'Alene

WHERE SCRAPS BECOME TREASURES

Turn your treasures into art

Got a box of photos you love, mementos from a trip, or scraps of lace and ribbon just waiting for a purpose? This hands-on 3-session class is your chance to pull it all together into something beautiful.

About the class

"Junk" Memory Boards are mixed media collage pieces that combine personal mementos — photos, fabric, metal, leather, paper, found objects — layered onto a flat base and assembled into a finished piece you'll actually want to display.

Over three 2-hour sessions, the instructor will guide you through the process from concept to completion. Each session builds on the last, so by the end you'll go home with a finished project — and a whole new set of creative skills.

The class fee includes a selection of vintage papers, ribbons, ads, and embellishments to use in your piece. Snacks will also be provided. Come ready to dig in, make new friends, and have fun. For youth ages 6-17 and adults 18+. All skill levels welcome. Each class is limited to 8 students.

About the instructor

Koral Collins is an Idaho-based artist with a background in multiple mediums and a genuine love for bringing creative ideas to life. A graduate of North Idaho College, she has sold original works, painted wall murals and signs, and spent years as a primary artist for Starr Map Co. — creating hand-illustrated tourist maps for North Idaho and Montana. She's bringing all of that experience — and a supportive teaching style — to All Things Art CdA.
