Fine Art with Penny
Penny believes anyone can learn to draw — it's simply a matter of learning what to look for and how to see. With that philosophy at the heart of every class, she offers instruction in basic drawing, sketching, colored pencils, charcoal, oil and acrylic painting, pen and ink, watercolor, and watercolor with pen and ink. If you are just starting out, she will teach you the fundamentals needed to succeed. If you are advanced, she will help you hone your skills. She is looking for students who are eager to learn and ready to make new friends in a relaxing, fun-filled atmosphere. Regular adult (18+) classes are limited to 7 students. Adult semi-private class is limited to 4 students (indicated with *).

A note for oil painters: If you plan to work with oil paints in the shop, please bring odorless thinner only. Regular thinners are not permitted in the studio.

Tuesday: 9am - 11am
Wednesday*: 2pm - 3:30pm

Costs
$78 - 4 sessions / month
Semi-private* $120 - 4 sessions/month
About the instructor
Penny has been teaching fine art classes in various mediums since 1998. She believes anyone can learn to draw when they're shown what to look for and how to see — and that philosophy shapes everything about the way she teaches. Her students love her patient, encouraging approach as she guides them through their creative journey.
